A dear friend, Noni Faruq, met the Rose Circles women during one of her visits to India and was moved to become involved. Due to her efforts a safe house was constructed for homeless women and their children.
Rose Circles is a
project with a mission to economically
uplift women in rural and marginalized areas around the world. They provide training, the raw materials, networking and marketing for groups of women, some of whom are homeless, suffering from AIDS, and newly
widowed. The aim is to create economic stability, and employment that
provides safe, sustainable, and community minded work places for
these women.
The YouTube video below shows some of the beautiful items the women make.
Visit the Rose Circles WebsiteSee the Anne Godfrey Interview on their site. They hold healing circles to bring light and love to areas that are in strife. It's a powerful project.
